They will likely embrace advanced technologies like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) as they grow up. This generation will build on the foundations laid by their predecessors, further bridging the gap between generations and shaping the future.
Between 2010 and 2020, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Autonomous Vehicles all became mainstream.
While this is an oversimplification of what each generation navigated, the point here is that every generation in recorded human history flipped, transformed and evolved primarily based on the mainstream introduction of a new technology that changed the way they lived life on a day to day basis, as well as interacted with the world and each other. Understanding this helps us to see the newest generations through a more balanced lens and explains why their values and motives may differ from those of previous generations. This is always a good starting point and foundation to begin a conversation. As we continue to explore the evolution of generations and the technologies that have shaped them, we can better understand the diverse perspectives and experiences that each generation brings to the table, and bridges the gaps while working towards a more innovative future.
